Job summary

Meridian Business Support Limited is recruiting an Electrical Shift Engineer for a luxury automotive brand at the Woking site in Surrey. This permanent role offers varied hands-on maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems in a high-profile facility.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and respond to emergencies while working a 40-hour week on rotating shifts. On-call duties are included with enhanced overtime rates to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis in building systems.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, testing and inspection.
• Familiarity with risk assessments and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules and procedures, maintaining high engineering standards.
• Work safely and in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and site procedures.
• Maintain records for planned and reactive maintenance and respond to issues promptly.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients and stakeholders on maintenance activities.
• Attend call-outs and emergencies related to electrical and mechanical services as required.
• Produce clear reports on work performed and equipment condition.
