Locations: St Dennis, St Austell, Indian Queens, Newquay, Bodmin, Truro, Wadebridge or surrounding areas

The company is backed by a wider group offering stability and security. They are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join the team to help the business continue its success.

This role would suit someone with strong electrical experience. If you also have experience within the power industry this would be a distinct advantage, though this is not essential.

The Role

• Carrying out planned or reactive maintenance on site
• Performing isolations and issuing safety-to-work documents up to 400 kV
• Training to become HV Authorised; pay will increase in line with this
• 6-week shift rotation which includes days, evenings and nights. You will work weekends twice over a 6-week period and you will have 1 week in each rotation on emergency cover

The Person

• Must have relevant strong electrical experience - HNC minimum
• Power Industry experience is ideal but other backgrounds will be considered (e.g., Ex-forces, Naval background, Energy from Waste or similar industrial electrical background)
