Electrical Shift Engineer

Location: Canary Wharf, East London

Salary: £48,500

We are on the search for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our client's team in a large commercial office in Canary Wharf. In this role, you will carry out PPM and Reactive Maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical systems on site, respond to emergencies on site, ensure all statutory compliance is adhered to, liaise with subcontractors, and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided. This role works on a 4on 4off shift rota.

Duties:

1. PPMs & Reactive maintenance
2. Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
3. Organising subcontractors
4. Quotations
5. Health & Safety
6. Logbooks
7. Risk assessments
8. Permits to work

Requirements:

1. Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
2. At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
3. Polite and personable
4. Apprentice trained - Desirable, not essential
