Role

My client, a global manufacturing organisation, is looking to appoint a Electrical shift Engineer to join their growing team in Flintshire.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out installation work to include modifying existing equipment and installation of new equipment
  • Ensure that H&S policies are followed at all times
  • Communicate to Engineering team to ensure a comprehensive shift handover is completed
  • Assist team with implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.
Qualifications
  • HNC engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automated systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • 3 years' experience within an engineering role
  • Strong communication skills
