Electrical Services Manager –Bristol
£47,900 per annum
37 hours per week

Overview of the role: We’re currently recruiting for an Electrical Services Manager to lead and manage all electrical servicing, repairs, and compliance activity across a diverse housing portfolio.
You’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services covering domestic and commercial electrical installations—including lifts and solar PV—while ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance. This role also takes responsibility for budget management, contractor performance, and team leadership.

This is a key position within the Building Safety team, offering a real opportunity to drive service improvements and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the delivery of electrical maintenance, repairs and cyclical servicing programmes.
  • Act as NICEIC Duty Holder and/or Qualified Supervisor.
  • Instruct, manage and support a high-performing internal team and external contractors.
  • Oversee post-work quality inspections and compliance audits.
  • Manage annual budgets and ensure delivery to SLAs without compromising quality.
  • Work collaboratively with finance, commercial and building safety teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure right-first-time service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and relevant electrical regulations.
Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition).
  • Experience as NICEIC Duty Holder and/or Qualified Supervisor.
  • Proven leadership experience within a technical services environment.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, safety standards and customer-focused service delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience managing budgets and contractor performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical advice when required.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (some out-of-hours work may be required).
