Electrical Service Engineer – Engineering Machinery Specialist
A well-established engineering services company, known for its work with a wide range of industrial machinery, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Engineer to join its expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual with a strong electrical background—and ideally some mechanical knowledge—to work on a diverse portfolio of machines across multiple manufacturers. The company supplies new equipment and services existing installations, offering a varied and rewarding workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical service, repairs, and diagnostics on engineering machinery
Upgrades, retrofits, removals, and installations
Preventative maintenance and general servicing
Supporting a wide client base, primarily across the North West, with occasional nationwide travel
Working independently and as part of a close-knit team of engineers
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum 6 years' experience in Electrical Engineering
Experience with industrial machinery servicing
Mechanically competent (preferred but not essential)
Computer literate and confident in using diagnostic tools/software
Possesses a clean or near-clean UK driving licence
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Role Details:
Full-time, permanent position
Core hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:15pm, Friday 7:00am – 2:30pm
Stockport-based workshop with frequent site visits across the North West and occasional overnight stays nationally (approx. 2 nights/month)

Competitive base salary from £42,000 per annum
