Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a team working on traditional electrical machinery across customer sites in the South West (Bristol/Bath/Swindon/Chippenham). You will travel in two-man teams to service and repair machines, perform PPM and reactive maintenance, and handle commissioning when needed.

The role requires experience with 3-phase control panels, motors, fault finding, and PLC knowledge, with anElectrical apprenticeship or equivalent

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance skills required.
• Experience working on 3 phase control panels and motors.
• Relays and/or sensors experience.
• PLC knowledge.
• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing or service sectors.
• Driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Travel with a two-man team to maintain and repair machines at client sites.
• Carry out day-to-day PPM and reactive electrical maintenance tasks.
• Work on 3-phase control panels, motors, fault finding and repair; some commissioning when required.
• Work on various types of electrical equipment.
