Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking an Electrical Quality Systems Team Leader based at Culham, Oxfordshire. The role requires onsite work 4–5 days a week with BPSS/DBS checks and potential site travel.

You will lead quality activities across electrical manufacturing and installation for the RACE portfolio, ensuring compliance with international standards and safety directives. Your responsibilities include developing QA documentation, guiding design reviews, and ensuring right‑first‑time

Qualifications

Extensive electrical QA experience and ability to assess electrical design work.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, machinery and distribution systems.
Proven experience delivering electrical engineering projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Electrical Quality Team with coaching and standards.
Own QA across electrical systems and ensure supplier/contractor compliance.
Develop and maintain Quality Management plans, test plans and QA documentation.
Provide technical leadership through design, build, testing and commissioning lifecycles.
Manage suppliers, subcontractors and external partners ensuring quality, cost and schedule targets.
Support project delivery and maintain health & safety documentation.
