Overview

Electrical Operations Supervisor role within the Commercial Services directorate. The role oversees the delivery of all electrical works across housing stock, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality. You will lead and motivate a team of electrical professionals, monitor performance, and support their development. A key responsibility is to act as the Qualified Supervisor (QS), reviewing and signing off electrical certification.

Your daily duties involve managing electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works (e.g., full property rewires), aiming for a first-time fix within budget. You will champion a customer-centric approach to ensure timely resolutions and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of all electrical works across housing stock, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality.
  • Lead and develop a team of electrical professionals; monitor performance and support their development.
  • Act as the Qualified Supervisor (QS), reviewing and signing off electrical certification.
  • Manage electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works (e.g., full property rewires); aim for a first-time fix within budget.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications as an Electrician, including AM2, City & Guilds 2391, 2360 (or equivalents), and City & Guilds 2394/2395 for inspection and testing.
  • Practical competence working to the current edition of BS 7671.
  • Full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle to travel to various properties.
