Role

Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to provide a comprehensive electrical compliance service across a large geographical area covering Kingston, Croydon and Canterbury. The Qualified Electrical Supervisor (QES) will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and compliance works within social housing properties. The role ensures all electrical works meet statutory regulations, industry standards, and organisational quality requirements, while providing leadership and technical support to electricians and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to electricians across varying contracts
• Being the EQS for NICEIC accreditation
• Carrying out technical and H&S toolbox talks to the electrical staff
• Conducting regular Quality Control inspections on both work-in-progress and post-works carried out by internal electricians and approved sub-contractors

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Current BS7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Testing & Inspection qualification
• Recognised Qualified Supervisor status with NICEIC/NAPIT (or equivalent)
• Proven experience supervising electrical works, preferably within social housing or similar residential environments
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Location & Travel

This role would benefit someone residing in the following areas: Maidstone, Aylesford, East Malling, and the surrounding areas.

You will be required to be at each of the branches conducting regular audits and providing support evenly over the course of a month, so long travel capabilities are essential.
