About the Role

Due to a promotion within the team, we are now seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our Responsive Repairs workstream; now in its thirteenth year providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community

We are searching for a skilled Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to help benefit the lives of their local community, overseeing 10 electricians within the team. While working in accordance to the relevant Safety Regulations and departmental procedures, you will have to carry out a variety of different duties from ensuring jobs have been coded accurately, providing progress reports, RAILs, ensuring sub-contractors submit required documentation to control all facets of cost, budgetary and value analysis of the contract.

This is a hybrid role, involving a mixture of field-based and office work. You'll be onsite for inspections, to oversee your Electricians and to answer general client queries across such locations as Bexley, Chatham, Croydon and Tonbridge. You'll also have office days at the Tonbridge branch.

Role Criteria:

  • Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations

  • Have the knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report

  • Exposure to Supervising a team of electricians and apprentices ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and timely manner

  • City and Guilds 2360/2365 NVQ Level 3 Parts 1 and 2

  • City and Guilds 2357 Including AM2

  • City and Guilds 2392 - Fundamental Certification, Inspection and Testing

  • City and Guilds 2394 -Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations, and

  • City and Guilds 2395 - Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations, and

  • City and Guilds 18th Edition
