Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is looking for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to oversee electrical works on residential and commercial sites across London. The role is hands-on and site-based, combining inspection, testing and supervision with auditing and sign-off of engineers.

You will act as the named Qualified Supervisor for the NICEIC registration, ensuring all works and certifications meet technical and regulatory standards. The post requires leadership and strong EICR experience.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) current amendment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent.
• Substantial experience in electrical inspection, testing and certification.
• Strong EICR experience across domestic properties and residential communal areas.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations, including Part P.
• Previous supervisory, mentoring or technical leadership experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel independently across London.

Responsibilities

• Act as the named Qualified Supervisor for the company's NICEIC registration.
• Carry out EICRs, inspection and testing and installation certification.
• Review, verify and sign off EICRs, EICs and Minor Works Certificates.
• Carry out site audits and sample checks of completed electrical works.
• Provide technical supervision, mentoring and guidance to electricians, improvers and apprentices.
• Investigate and resolve complex electrical faults.
• Identify remedial works and provide clear technical reports.
• Support engineers working towards their 2391 qualification.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, NICEIC requirements and Building Regulations.
• Support the company's annual NICEIC assessment.

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
• ECS Gold Card
• 2382, 2377 or 2396 qualifications
• Experience with EV charging, fire/security systems or emergency lighting
• Experience with digital certification or CAFM systems
