Job description

On behalf of our client, Nrl Recruitment is looking for an Electrical QC Inspector for work in the Aldermaston area.

Duration: 12 months contract
Start: ASAP
Location: Aldermaston RG7 4PR
Hours: 4 x 10-hour days one week, 5 x 8-hour days the next.

Requirements: You need to be S/C cleared or be eligible for S/C clearance.

This role is a key position within our client's Defence Asset Solutions Quality Control Team, covering both client/site-based work and off-site subcontractor works.

The role involves working closely with a multi-disciplined quality team to ensure work meets required standards, within the boundaries of our client's Management Systems and the Client/National Regulatory Requirements.

You will work collaboratively with the supply chain, managing quality, pre-qualification assessments, supply chain audits, performance, and day-to-day management.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplier and subcontractor management systems as part of vendor assessment to ensure competence, providing electrical QC input into design and specifications, and conducting inspections for internally delivered and subcontracted works.

This position is primarily based in Aldermaston, but may include local or national travel.

Additional duties include producing and reviewing upfront paperwork such as ITPS, Cable Cards, ICLs, and supporting handover packages like LTRs.
