Job description

MK Search & Selection is currently working with a well-respected, rapidly expanding M&E contractor. They are looking to engage an electrical project manager to deliver a fast-track £5m M&E logistics hub/distribution centre in Newport, Wales, in partnership with a leading main contractor.

As an electrical project manager, you will act as the lead on the scheme, with a senior mechanical project engineer as a direct report. Your responsibilities will include managing the MEP package across the 6-month scheme. You will be involved in pre-construction activities before going on site to lead a team of talented site managers and engineers to deliver the project to completion.

The company is based in London and this project marks their first venture into the South Wales market. They are initially engaging people on a contract basis while they continue to tender for more work in the region, with the goal of moving onto further projects after this 6-month assignment.
