Position Title: Electrical Project Manager / Engineer

Their expert in-house team of Engineers, Planners, and Project Managers has delivered a truly holistic, end-to-end service across the renewable energy landscape. Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organised Electrical Project Manager / Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role involving both office-based responsibilities and frequent visits to nationwide project sites. You will oversee and support the electrical elements of solar and wind projects, from design and installation to maintenance and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver High and Low Voltage (HV/LV) electrical installation work as needed across projects
  2. Support and perform planned/reactive maintenance on operational sites
  3. Lead or assist in electrical design (HV and LV), plant specification, and coordination with external HV design partners
  4. Analyse site performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation
  5. Proactively diagnose and resolve electrical faults
  6. Produce high-quality designs, technical reports, and documentation
  7. Participate in rota-based remote monitoring of renewable energy sites, including occasional weekend cover
Essential Requirements
  1. City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
  2. Level 3 Technical/Vocational Qualification or Diploma
  3. 18th Edition certification
  4. Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approach
  5. Effective communication and organisational skills
  6. Competent IT skills and computer literacy
  7. Full UK Driving Licence
  8. Flexibility to travel and work across the UK, including evenings/weekends when required
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  1. High Voltage experience
  2. Previous work in PV system design, installation, and maintenance
  3. Experience with onshore wind installations
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD
  5. Familiarity with communications/network setup
  6. HV Authorised Person / Switching Course
  7. 18th Edition Amendment 2 certification
