The Electrical Project Manager is a supervisory role that involves overseeing electrical projects, sometimes working directly in the field, checking on electricians, and communicating with established customers. An electrical license is not required, but candidates must have field experience in electrical installations, coordination, or management, along with strong initiative, execution, and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Prerequisites include passing the ICC F16 Journeyman Exam on NEC 2014 guidelines or holding an Iowa electrical license. Experience owning an electrical business is also considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist crews with installation questions.
2. Maintain project timelines and projections.
3. Manage multiple projects from bidding to completion.
4. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel), Google, and OneDrive.
5. Set priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
6. Maintain telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
7. Use industry knowledge to solve on-site obstacles.
8. Communicate with customers to ensure expectations are met.
9. Assist the Master Electrician with project implementation and estimation.
10. Instruct employees on proper electrical methods.
11. Maintain a safe work environment.
12. Understand and adhere to NEC standards.
13. Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
14. Experience with data communications is a plus.
15. Collaborate with vendors for timely quotes.
16. Minimum of 3 years of electrical and project management experience.
