Your new company

You will be working for a well-established electrical contractor based in Nottinghamshire that has been in operation for over 25 years with a strong, longstanding team. This organization typically works in the fast-fit out sector, mainly for the commercial market in larger UK cities such as London and Birmingham. The projects they undertake vary in value, with an average project size of approximately £1.5 million and a project duration of 12-20 weeks. Due to their reputation for quality work, they continue to secure repeat business. They also prioritize team retention, which is reflected in their staff stability.

Your new role

You will be an electrical project manager working mainly on commercial projects, such as office fit-outs involving lighting control systems. You will manage projects from stage 3 design through to completion, working closely with the CAD department, health and safety team, and procurement. Typically, you will be supported by a non-working foreperson on-site.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced electrical project manager with a background in similar projects and hold relevant electrical qualifications. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the company maintains strong relationships with clients.
