M Group are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their Minor Projects team. The Minor Projects team provides technical and engineering services for a range of electrical disciplines and activities. The role offers the opportunity to be involved in the safety, compliance, and delivery of several challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver airport minor projects, effectively managing multiple programmes. Focus on resource, plant, and materials to deliver value, quality, and safety while maintaining compliance with internal and client needs.
- Oversee projects from tender and pre-construction to completion and handover.
- Support a strategy that translates into strong and innovative delivery of high-quality electrical projects in a highly governed and challenging transport industry.
- Be client-focused, demonstrating an excellent understanding of the scope of works.
- Utilize proven business and commercial acumen, working within The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and delivering construction projects within NEC3, JCT, and bespoke contract conditions.
- Act as the point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and third parties. Lead the project team with the timely production of risk assessments, method statements, H&S site management, work package plans, and support the collation of information for construction phase plans.
About You
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ideally qualified with NVQ Level 6 or above and/or 18th Edition Regulations, with a successful track record managing aviation-based projects.
- Ideally hold a formal project management qualification, such as APM.
- Experience in project management and delivery within a safety-critical environment.
- Fully conversant with safety regulations, particularly CDM.
- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract to manage day-to-day contract obligations.
- Demonstrable experience with both commercial and project deliverables on previous projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
