  • UK PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.

Do you have experience delivering M&E projects with a strong knowledge of installations? Have you got experience of running projects GBP7m+?

An opportunity has arisen for a M&E Project Manager with electrical bias to join a market leading principle contracting company in the building services industry. This is to primarily work a large refurbishment in Manchester.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that resources are available for work e.g. materials, labour and plant etc.
• Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget
• Ensure works are carried out safely and that reasonable and practical measures are taken to maintain the safety of all involved
• Liaison with site management team and all key stake holders involved with the project
• Subcontract and material procurement and management
• Financial management of contracts, variations etc.
• Manage competence and individual performance within the team
• Maintain company standards in terms of quality

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years project management experience in an MEP contracting environment
• Ability to prioritise workload to ensure the management process is optimised
• Knowledge of electrical systems is ESSENTIAL
• UK PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
• Strong communications skills both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of working with sub-contractors and managing in-house labour
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• First Aid
