Job summary

Dodd Group Ltd in King's Lynn is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to deliver LV electrical works on utility, industrial and commercial sites across the region. The role is based in the King's Lynn office but requires frequent travel for client meetings, surveys, inspections and audits.

You will oversee projects from survey to completion, coordinating staff, suppliers and contractors while ensuring compliance with H&S requirements and timely invoicing and reporting.

Qualifications

• You will be electrically-qualified with significant experience in project supervision and management.
• Good understanding of site-based H&S and a full clean driving licence with ECS card.
• SMSTS, CDM or H&S-related qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with staff, clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and standards.
• Manage project finances including invoicing and reporting.
• Specify and order materials for projects.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Brief and manage installation personnel.
• Resolve installation and access issues.
• Complete and submit as-installed documentation.

The role

Dodd Group requires a Project Engineer / Manager to deliver LV electrical works on utility, industrial and commercial sites across the region. The position is office-based but will require frequent travel across the region to carry out client meetings, surveys, inspections and audits.

Based at the King's Lynn office, duties will include:

• Liaison with staff, clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and sector standards.
• Financial management of projects, including invoicing and reporting.
• Specification and ordering of materials.
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
• Management and briefing of installation personnel.
• Resolving installation and access issues.
• Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.

You will need

You will be electrically-qualified with significant experience of project supervision and management roles, a good understanding of site-based H&S and possess a full clean driving licence and ECS card. Additional qualifications, e.g. SMSTS, CDM- or H&S-related subjects, are always advantageous.
