Electrical Project Manager

Hertfordshire
Up to 350/day 12-Month Contract

Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and well-respected MEP contractor, as they seek an experienced and driven Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a high-profile commercial development based in Hertfordshire.

This is a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent employment, depending on performance and upcoming project workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all electrical installation works on site from start to finish

  • Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and quality of works

  • Manage programme timelines, procurement, and material scheduling

  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and health & safety regulations

  • Liaise with the client, design team, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery

  • Report progress to senior management and contribute to risk assessments, testing, and commissioning

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial electrical projects

  • Strong knowledge of LV systems, containment, lighting, small power, etc.

  • Excellent leadership and client-facing skills

  • SMSTS or SSSTS, ECS/CSCS, and First Aid

  • Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence
