Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical works on solar PV, BESS and substations in a hybrid Nottinghamshire setting. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and client representatives while overseeing programme, costs and quality.

The role requires HV infrastructure knowledge and experience with grid connections, with safety and design compliance at the forefront. Candidates should be prepared for on-site work in Retford.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical works on renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Background in utility-scale solar PV, BESS, substations or grid connections.
• Knowledge of HV infrastructure, including 33kV and 132kV.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site teams.
• Strong understanding of project programmes, technical documentation and H&S.
• Willingness to work on site in Retford, Nottinghamshire.

Rate: £550/day

CERTIFICATIONS

• SMSTS or equivalent project management / site safety qualification.
• Relevant electrical engineering or project management qualification.

• Experience managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
