Job summary

1st Step Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major electrical packages on a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility project in the UK. You will drive delivery from design through installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating civil, electrical and MEP interfaces.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical installation, project controls and safety compliance on complex industrial sites, with a focus on meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical sites within construction projects.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and relevant standards.
• CSCS Manager-level card (required).
• Desriable: SMSTS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from design through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Oversee electrical designs, technical specifications and compliance.
• Monitor progress, costs and quality for successful delivery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.
• Ensure health, safety and quality requirements are met.
• Support procurement, commissioning and final handover.
