Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the United Utilities Water Framework in the North West. You will coordinate electrical design, procurement, installation, testing and handover across water assets, working with project managers, site teams and supply chain partners.

Your day-to-day includes coordinating MCCs, LV distribution, instrumentation and PLC/SCADA interfaces, reviewing design information, supporting procurement, and producing RAMS, permits and test packs to

Qualifications

Experience delivering electrical and ICA works on capital projects in utilities or regulated environments.
Ability to read and coordinate electrical drawings, specs and supplier information.
Proactive, organised with strong interpersonal skills to work across teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical and ICA work packages (MCCs, LV, cabling, drives, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA).
Review design information and supplier submissions for buildability and compliance.
Support procurement, scope development, tender reviews and supplier engagement.
Produce RAMS, permits, inspection/test plans and handover records.
Ensure delivery complies with CDM, health and safety legislation and Kier standards.
