Job summary

SEDAMYL in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the ongoing growth of our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Automation and Controls Manager, you will be involved in the full electrical lifecycle from inception to installation, testing and completion.

Key tasks include delivering electrical input to new projects, managing contractors, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

Professional qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential.
FMCG / Process background is highly desirable.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar industrial role is required.
Proven experience in managing multiple electrical projects across production/manufacturing sites.
ATEX/COMPEX certification knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver electrical engineering input to new projects and modifications.
Provide full support during the project lifecycle from design through to documentation handover, ensuring key milestones are met.
Manage contractors to deliver on time and on budget solutions for standalone or larger multi-discipline projects.
Coordinate with site-based and external teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.
Develop and manage project documentation and change control processes.
Ensure installations comply with relevant safety regulations and MV/LV distribution integration.
