Job summary

Caval Limited in West Yorkshire is recruiting an experienced M&E Project Engineer with a strong electrical background to take ownership of projects from inception through to handover.

You will oversee full lifecycle delivery, working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, and you will manage procurement, programmes, site delivery, health and safety.

This hands-on role offers a £50,000–£65,000 salary plus package, with scope to develop within a growing M&E business.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with full M&E delivery understanding.
• Experience delivering M&E projects in construction or building services.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong commercial awareness including valuations and variations.
• Proven procurement and programming experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects through full lifecycle from inception to handover.
• Reviewing and re-evaluating projects against initial estimates.
• Procure materials and manage buying process.
• Develop and maintain project programmes.
• Overseeing site delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Managing health and safety compliance.
• Preparing valuations and managing variations, including pricing.
• Managing projects through to final account and handover.
• Supporting the estimating function during busy periods where required.
• Taking ownership of project delivery from commencement through to completion.
