Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Manchester team, focusing on a high-profile defence project. You will support design development, procurement, modelling, drawing, installation, testing and commissioning in line with project briefs and regulations.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, you will apply technical knowledge of complex buildings and contribute to Building Safety Act compliance and project quality requirements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in electrical engineering or building services is required or desirable.
• Degree in electrical or building services engineering is desirable but not essential.
• CSCS card is a stated requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review electrical design information, raising RFIs and technical queries for compliance.
• Support electrical procurement packages, including technical evaluations and deliveries tracking.
• Review electrical shop drawings, submittals, and method statements for approval.
• Monitor electrical works against the programme and flag delays or constraints.
• Assist with electrical testing and commissioning activities under senior supervision.
