Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our London team, working on the Greenwich Royal Observatory project. You will support design development, procurement, modelling, drawing, installation, testing and commissioning within the project brief and regulatory framework.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, you’ll apply your electrical expertise to complex buildings, ensuring Building Safety Act compliance and high-quality QA/QC records.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in electrical engineering or building services and a CSCS card are required.
• Degree in electrical or building services engineering is desirable but not essential.
• Experience coordinating electrical design and procurement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review electrical design information for compliance.
• Support procurement packages, including evaluations and deliveries.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and method statements for approval.
• Monitor works against programme and highlight delays.
• Support onsite installations, QA/QC and RAMS input.
• Coordinate BIM coordination and electrical clash resolution.
• Assist with testing and commissioning activities under supervision.
• Provide input to commercial variation assessments.
