Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a Cumbria manufacturing site, delivering capital investment projects in a highly automated environment.

You will manage projects end-to-end, drive safety and compliance, and collaborate with Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to achieve successful outcomes. Competitive salary £45,000-£52,000, full-time, on-site at Dalston.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree or recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
• Experience managing CapEx projects, budgeting and procurement.
• Familiarity with CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and contractor management.
• Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships.
• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Project Delivery: Manage capital investment projects from concept through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Deliver engineering solutions that enhance reliability, performance, and efficiency across initiatives.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure project success.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to legislation, standards and site requirements.
• Facilitate training, documentation, and handover to operations.
