Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a high-profile project and lead the delivery of complex electrical building services from design through testing and commissioning.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer to ensure technical compliance, quality standards and successful project outcomes across all lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical building services, M&E or construction environments.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, testing and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review electrical design information, raising RFIs and technical queries.
• Support procurement packages including technical reviews and monitoring material deliveries.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and method statements for approval.
• Monitor works against programmes and identify potential delays.
• Support site installation activities ensuring quality and compliance with specs.
• Assist with material take-offs and procurement planning.
• Support BIM coordination and clash detection and resolution.
• Assist RAMS reviews and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspections and testing records.
• Coordinate and support testing and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support for variations and change management.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, regulations and quality requirements.
