Electrical Project Engineer - Bridgend

Salary: £46,000 plus excellent benefits

This company is a well-known manufacturer in the local area seeking enthusiastic, innovative, and motivated individuals to join their growing team. They are a leading employer in South Wales, offering excellent internal training programs and maintaining an extremely low staff turnover.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers to deliver projects on time, within specification, and on budget, reporting to the Project Manager if deviations are likely.
  • Manage project planning by capturing and maintaining electrical documentation following guidelines, standards, and templates.
  • Produce and update process and electrical drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring documentation is current post-project completion.
  • Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) detailing all electrical activities required for each project.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Experience managing contractors and working closely with Maintenance and Process teams.
  • Proficient in CAD for producing and maintaining electrical drawings on site.
  • This role suits someone with a maintenance apprenticeship background who has progressed into a Project Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in ELCAD, EPLAN, Siemens S7/TIA Programming, and Lenze Servo applications.
