We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Engineers to help build the largest Electric Arc Furnace in the world - it\'s not often that opportunities like this come along. You could be at the forefront of a high-profile £1 billion megaproject that will have a significant impact on the economy, the environment, and society.

This project represents a transformative step towards a green, decarbonised future and a fundamental restructure of how our client does business. Working as part of a team that is driving engineering excellence, you\'ll collaborate with a range of diverse stakeholders to develop and safely build Tata Steel\'s 3.2mt electric arc furnace.

The engineering challenges are immense and exciting. You\'ll be involved in cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions that will set new industry standards. From initial design through to final implementation, this project will test and expand your engineering skills.

Key Duties
  • Create project plans and proposals that support and improve the business.
  • Oversee all stages of assigned projects, from concept through execution to final acceptance.

  • Oversee project engineering activities to ensure timely, safe, and budget-compliant completion.
  • Solve problems and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.

  • Degree in Engineering and Chartered Engineer status desirable but not essential.
  • Solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety study methods (training provided if needed).
