What you will be doing

Reporting to the Project / Delivery Manager, you’ll play a vital role in project delivery—from initial surveys and investigations to managing design and supporting on‑site construction. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless electrical project execution, stakeholder coordination, and driving quality outcomes across high‑value Severn Trent water infrastructure projects. Based at our Woodside House office in Annesley, you’ll also travel across various sites in the region, ideally living in or near Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of Water Infrastructure projects throughout all project phases.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external designers (Structural, Electrical & Mechanical).
  • Managing subcontractors during site investigations, design, and construction stages.
  • Producing construction‑stage documentation and securing necessary permits and approvals.
  • Participating in design and progress meetings and mentoring junior team members.
  • Ensuring project compliance using our Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Driving safety and collaboration in line with our Health, Safety and Environment culture.

  • Recognised electrical engineering qualifications and relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of NEC 4 contracts and sustainable development principles.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, current legislation, QA, and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and working with multi‑disciplinary teams.
