Are you an Electrical Project Engineer with extensive experience of working on TFL assets?

Have you got a background in Electrical Design and now work as a Project Engineer?

Location: London - 2 days office - rest from home
Rate: £80k-£85k FTC to EOY or £450-£500 day inside IR35
Contract length: Until year end

My client is looking for multiple Electrical Project Engineers who have extensive experience of working on TFL assets. They are currently supplying telecoms packages into TFL assets and need Electrical Project Engineers with knowledge of how the telecoms fit into the wider TFL electrical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a good mixture of working client-side for TFL and for a main electrical contractor. Candidates must have come from a background working as Electrical Design Engineers.

The client would prefer people on FTC but would also consider day rates inside IR35.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, delivery, management, and commissioning of wireless networks. You will work toward key project deliverables in compliance with TfL requirements for the London Underground environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Align workload with Project objectives working with TFL and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
2. Working in the delivery team - managing commissions of the program.
3. Reviewing designs - surveys - design and commissioning, managing life cycle and subcontractors.
4. Creating and reviewing H&S docs.
5. Assurance and acceptance of TFL standards.
6. System integration of telecoms into electrical.

Requirements:

1. Experience working as a Project Engineer on TFL schemes.
2. Previous experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer.
