Job description

We are currently looking for an Ex Project Coordinator with previous hands-on, technical experience as an Electrical Technician who has already made the move into an office based capacity.

Role Responsibilities:

Project Planning
  • Communicating regularly with the client/company planning/logistic departments on scope progress.
  • Attending daily/weekly client/company planning meetings.
  • Ensuring company resources meet mobilisation requirements.
  • Liaising with Client Planners to deliver Ex Strategy Inspection Campaign.
Cost Control
  • Preparing budgets and cost time analysis as required.
  • Raising service and material requisitions for the scope of works requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting Value of Work Done reports as requested.
  • Presenting expenditure against budget to progress plan reports.
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities.
Project Management
  • Maintaining communications with onshore/offshore internal/external team via meetings/electronic/voice conference.
  • Monitoring, analysing and communicating Key Performance attainment.
  • Preparing and delivering formal monthly reports to the client/company as requested.
  • Coordinating contract timesheets to the Financial Department and assisting with the invoice approval.
Quality Management
  • Adhering to the client/company Management Systems, regulations and strategies.
  • Ensuring Health and safety documentation is submitted.
  • Providing line management mentoring and support for personnel, to ensure training and development needs are identified and addressed in line with competency assurance systems.
  • Promoting continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes.
Technical Support
  • Technical project management to meet contract/project/client specific requirements.
  • Keeping up to date with industry legislation.
Competency
  • Assessing offshore competency assessment folders and trade tests in line with the companies Competency and Assurance process.
Other
  • Maintaining good communications with internal and external clients.
  • Taking a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes.
  • Ad-hoc duties as requested by management.
  • Travelling may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.
  • Social and business networking is expected.
  • Participating in On Call Rotation.

  • Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET/MIST).
  • UKOOA Medical.
