Looking for career progression with an expanding company? We are delighted to be working with a well-established regional M & E contracting company that has exciting plans for growth across the South West. Due to an increase in workload and succession planning, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Electrical biased Project/Contracts Manager to join their Devon-based team.

The Role

Working for a range of clients and contractors, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of projects, including new build and refurbishments, across sectors such as commercial, education, retail, and health. Responsibilities include:

  1. Working with clients and project teams to understand and develop the project brief
  2. Liaising with the supply chain to produce quotations and procure labour and materials
  3. Managing quality, H & S, and ensuring successful delivery on time
  4. Creating and monitoring CDM plans
  5. Overseeing staff management and development
  6. Collaborating with the commercial team to meet budgets
  7. Leading the post-project phase

The Person

This varied role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and seeking career progression. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience in an Electrical Project Management role
  2. Latest electrical 18th edition and 2391 training
  3. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
  4. Proven track record in delivering projects up to £1.5m
  5. Problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills
  6. Full IT literacy
