Qualifications

• Time served Electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds part 3 required.
• Ability to fault-find and implement corrective action essential.
• Ideally experienced in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Build systems, sub-assemblies and piece parts for complex systems.
• Ensure that BOM and customer specifications are met.
• Train and guide less experienced technicians.

Skills

Detailed wiring skills to a precision level

Lead-free soldering

Ability to read electrical drawings

Ability to fault-find

Combination of mechanical, electrical and electronic assembly skills

Experience in the semiconductor industry
