Our Principal Consultant Robin Thomas is looking for an Electrical Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery.

Experience in electrics or automotive electronics is required, along with a willingness to learn and develop. This Electrical Production Engineer role offers a long-term, progressive career opportunity, not for job hoppers!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install cabling during the initial stage of assembly
  • Assemble electrical panels according to machine specifications
  • Create or modify simple cable assemblies
  • Build machines from start to finish, working with schematics to cover all electrical wiring requirements

This role offers significant scope for development, including designing, modifying, and fitting complex cable assemblies between control units that operate machinery, with the possibility of specifying equipment if necessary.

Since each machine is bespoke to the customer, the electrical system will vary accordingly.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00, with overtime possible until 18:00
  • Friday, 07:30 - 15:00, with overtime possible until 17:30

Overtime is paid at time and a half and is encouraged where possible.

Additional benefits include factory shutdown at Christmas, pension contributions, and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Starting hourly wage will depend on experience.
