Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Control Engineer to join our team, working on bespoke equipment and process control panels. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience in control systems, wiring, and fault finding, both in-house and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with single and three-phase equipment.
  2. Utilise relays and relay logic in control systems.
  3. Handle digital and analogue signals for instrumentation.
  4. Integrate analogue and digital signalling with PLCs (small and mainframe).
  5. Read and interpret electrical schematics for power and control panel circuits.
  6. Wire bespoke manufactured equipment.
  7. Design, build, and modify small process control panels.
  8. Diagnose and troubleshoot onsite equipment faults.
  9. Collaborate with design and mechanical engineers on projects.
  10. Work on-site with engineers and other contractors during installations.
  11. Liaise with external contractors and customer technicians to meet project goals.
  12. Travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays when required.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Strong background in electrical control engineering.
  2. Experience in panel wiring and fault-finding.
  3. Ability to work independently and within a team.
  4. Willingness to travel for installations and support.
