Electrical Power Systems Engineer (Marine)

Salary: £44,000 - £46,000 Basic + Bonuses + Overtime (OTE £75K+) + Vehicle + Training + Technical Progression + Door to Door Pay + Enhanced Pension + Package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning of electrical power and propulsion systems
  • Work on electrical power systems, propulsion systems, and associated control systems
  • Prepare technical reports promptly and accurately after each job
  • Based primarily in Essex with occasional worldwide travel
  • Experience with electrical power or propulsion systems
  • Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and software packages (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, WAGO)
  • Experience with switchgear and switchboards
  • Previous roles as Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Marine Engineer, or Navy experience
  • Electrical qualifications or equivalent (NVQ, HNC, etc.)
  • Must hold a UK Passport
