About Us

For over 24 years, GAP Electrical and Mechanical Services has delivered specialist project management, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Based in Conwy, we’re expanding our in-house team to support an ongoing local tunnel maintenance contract.

The Role

We’re looking for time-served Electrical or Mechanical Engineers to join our team on a part-time, casual basis.

You’ll work as part of a skilled team to install, operate, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and electrical (industrial) wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures.

• The planned maintenance work spans 12 tunnel closures per annum, working two night shifts 8pm to 5am on each occasion, plus adhoc reactive maintenance.
• Work scheduled 12 months in advance so you’ll always know your dates for the diary.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Good communicator, and able to work alone and as part of a team.
