Job summary

Mech Tech Professionals in Cardiff is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to lead a team of electricians installing EV Chargers across Industrial & Commercial sectors in South Wales. The role will be approximately 80% office based and 20% hands-on field work, with a salary up to £60,000 (DOE) and a strong benefits package.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 qualifications in Electrotechnical Systems and EV Charging, 18th Edition and 2391, plus extensive EV charger installation experience

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems or Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• Level 3 in EV Charging (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent).
• Very good experience in EV Charger Installation.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electricians delivering EV charger install projects across Industrial & Commercial sectors in South Wales and Southwest.
• Approve EV charger installations ensuring compliance with Building Regulations.
• Balance 80% office work with 20% hands-on field activities.

Electrical Operations Manager - Cardiff - Permanent role

• Managing a team of electricians in the installation of EV Chargers in the Industrial & Commercial sectors in South Wales and Southwest
• Signing off EV charger installation in line with building regulations.
• Position will be approx. 80% office based and approx. 20% hands on field based.
