A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a growing facilities maintenance company in an iconic banking building near Canary Wharf Station. The client is seeking a key team member to ensure excellent service delivery. You will be working night shifts only.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial maintenance experience, including emergency lighting, hot and cold water systems, fire alarm checks, FCUs, AHUs, UPS, BMS, and riser experience. Knowledge of FCUs, water treatment, and HVAC is essential. Previous experience in a corporate, client-facing environment is advantageous, as this is a very corporate site. Qualifications required include City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, and 17th/18th Edition certifications.

WORKING HOURS – SUNDAY TO THURSDAY, 8-HOUR NIGHT SHIFTS

Duties:

• Carrying out daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
• Performing emergency callout duties
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Testing emergency lighting
• Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting systems, and heat exchangers
• Maintenance duties on toilets, drainage, tiling, and sinks
• Demonstrating knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems, with fault-finding skills

Requirements:

• Electrical qualification
• City & Guilds – Level 2 & 3
• City & Guilds – 17th or 18th Edition
• Proven track record in building maintenance
• Good communication skills
• Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC, HV, LV systems
