Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Engineer bias for a 40-hour week at Manston, Kent. The role involves completing electrical installations, supporting wiring and calibration tasks, and performing testing and fault diagnosis with CAFM/ mobile apps.

You will work independently and as part of a team, maintain safety standards, and participate in a call-out rota while contributing to proactive and reactive maintenance tasks in a busy facility environment.

Qualifications

• BS 7671 (18th Edition) is essential.
• C&G 2491 and/or C&G 2357 or equivalent electrotechnical qualifications required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks.
• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders via a mobile working app and CAFM.
• Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, attend toolbox talks, take part in a call-out rota, and support multi-skilled PPM, reactive, and remedial works.
