Our client, a UK leader in Cooling and Heating equipment hire for process and HVAC applications, is seeking a Depot Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their team based at their head office in Eastleigh, Hampshire. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated warehouse team, supporting high levels of service and equipment provision across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and fault-finding equipment from returned hire contracts
  • PAT testing equipment
  • Placing orders for electrical components
  • Supporting electrical R&D projects

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of electrical controls and ability to interpret wiring diagrams
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
  • PAT testing experience (training available)
  • Good computer skills for managing repair software
  • Salary: £30,000 per annum
