Job summary

Qualitrol is seeking a Production Operative based in Belfast to support assembly of mechanical metalwork and product components within a busy production environment.

You will read electrical schematic drawings, prepare wiring, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean workspace. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, using hand, power, and air tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with different computer software systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematic drawings.
• Strong concentration and attention to detail under pressure and deadlines.
• Experience using a variety of hand, power and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical metalwork and product components.
• Prepare and termination of wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Adhere to defined standard work and quality requirements.
• Pack equipment using best methods and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and teamwork.
• Work to set timescales and deadlines; operate in a busy production environment.
