Our client, a leading defence company, is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Stevenage.

Position: Electrical Manufacturing Technician

Duration: 12-month initial contract

Rate: £26.19ph to £29.57ph UMB (Inside IR35)

We are looking for a qualified craftsman with relevant experience in electrical manufacturing. The Technician will report to a Team Leader who will provide daily direction on tasks such as Assembly, Inspection, and Test, along with their priorities.

Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Technician should be capable of certifying products and have a versatile skill set, applying these skills across various tasks using equipment, tools, gauges, and measuring instruments related to production, repair, and modification of company products to meet build standards and specifications.

• Experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
• Certify products according to certification procedures.
• Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
• Apply versatile skills across a range of tasks.
• Be fully familiar with all equipment, tools, and measuring instruments used in manufacturing.
• Ensure manufacturing, inspection, and testing times are met.
• Complete all paperwork related to the manufacturing data pack accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Practice good housekeeping.
• Share best practices with team members.

Skillset/experience required:

• A team player demonstrating customer focus.
• Proven planning and organizational skills, with flexibility and adaptability.
