Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an established Renewable Energy company in South Wales to appoint an Electrical Manager. The role oversees day-to-day electrical operations, with emphasis on Solar & Battery Storage installations, and occasional site visits.

You will lead installation teams, plan workloads, handle technical issues and customer queries, and work mainly from the office in Cwmbran with some travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Electricians or Solar Teams.
• Excellent technical knowledge and ability to audit/inspect works.
• Coordinate installation teams.
• Based locally to Cwmbran.

Job description

Electrical Manager – Overview

We are currently working with an established Renewable Energy company based in South Wales who are looking for an Electrical Manager to join the team. The company operate within a 90 minute radius of Cwmbran, installing and maintaining Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, Fans, Storage Heaters, Smart Controls, Insulation and much more.

They are a highly successful business that have been running for over 15 years. They have a turnover of £24million and over 80 staff. There is plenty of room for progression and development within the business.

You will be running the day to day operations of all electrical work within the business. This is mostly focused on the Solar & Battery Storage side however Electricians will also be wiring up heat pumps, storage heaters, fans, EV Chargers and other systems. You will manage the Installation Teams, ensuring day to day jobs go ahead as planned, organising workloads and dealing with any technical issues or customer queries.

The role will be predominantly office based in Cwmbran though there will be occasional travel to site to inspect/audit systems, meet with customers and more.
