Job Description:

Adecco Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their client's organization based in Inverclyde.

If you have a passion for working in a manufacturing environment and enjoy carrying out equipment maintenance and servicing, this is a great opportunity for you.

Work pattern: 12-hour shifts

As an Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on manufacturing equipment within a clean-room environment. Your role will help improve tool availability and maximize cycle time, ensuring smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs safely and effectively to enhance tool performance.
• Collaborating with the PM Group to ensure effective schedules and improved tool availability.
• Working with the Shift Manager and Equipment Engineering to prioritize tasks and meet online priorities.
• Using problem-solving techniques such as Why-Why Analysis and Difference Analysis to address and prevent equipment faults.
• Providing written updates and communicating via SAP work orders and shift reports to the Shift Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Engineering.
• Previous experience in a clean-room environment in electronics or semiconductor industry preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Mechanical maintenance experience or knowledge is desirable.
