Area of responsibility

  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of our products and services
  • The role involves substantial travelling within the UK, EU, and RoW (excluding the USA)

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintaining electro-mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial environment
  • Electrical qualifications
  • HNC/HND/Degree qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential
  • Knowledge of Safety Control PLCs, software, and SCADA systems would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, gas, pneumatics, and compressed air
  • Evidence of engineering, health and safety, and quality training
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, corrective actions, and multi-tasking as part of a 2/3 person team
  • Good work ethic, positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to quality and detail
  • Time-served apprenticeship is an advantage
  • Good understanding of and ability to interpret drawings and work on own initiative
  • Very good spoken and written command of English
  • Ability to wear safety equipment such as respirators and face masks
